Absolutely hilarious look into the life of Peter told from the perspective of one of the most unlikely people, his mother-in-law, Mara.
In the greatest traditions of overbearing and unapproving matriarchs, Mara (whose very name means bitter) deals with her son-in-law's
"change of professions". We journey with Peter from the respectable fisherman to a penniless wanderer to an outlaw and finally a great
leader of the early Church. Through many engaging songs and poignant scenes, in the end for Mara the most important change comes in her
own heart. Featuring Christian Music's favorite tenor, Allen Asbury as Peter "the Rock" whose vocal talents send this Musical to new heights.
Laugh & cry, worship & cheer, and leave an inspired, changed person - just like Mara.
Perhaps no character from the Bible is more representative of our human nature than Simon Peter. A skilled laborer, a fallen apostle, and a
restored follower all in one! And with a personality as big as his heart, great stories ensue. You'll get to know the not-so-perfect disciple,
his not-so-typical family, and the 'sons of thunder' in this fun-filled, heartfelt, fresh new musical. Experience the hopeful cries of the
imprisoned Peter in the stirring ballad, Somebody's Praying Me Through, and witness the transformation in the lives of some of the people
closest to the Redeemer.
Songs include: Somebody's Praying Me Through, Love Divine, Simon Say!, It's All About Grace, He's Alive, and More.
